ESE is a licensed engineering firm dedicated to sound engineering practices
and the ability to offer truly innovative solutions to technical environmental problems. ESE’s professional
engineers work together to deliver creative designs for the remediation and management of hazardous
waste in the environment. ESE engineers are responsible for interpreting assessment data and
designing corrective action strategies which may include institutional controls, engineering
controls and physical remediation. It is also the engineers’ responsibility to assess the
availability and suitability of corrective action options for a project. The engineer does this by
delivering a feasibility of closure strategies for a project, which may include a comparison of a
number of viable closure scenarios. From this feasibility assessment, the engineer will assist
their client in deciding which closure strategy best fits their needs with respect to cost,
schedule, operation and desired property end-use.
