Environmental geology and hydro-geology, is a multidisciplinary
field of applied science and includes certain practices related to engineering geology.
ESE’s geologist and hydro-geologist are responsible for conducting soil and groundwater
investigations which require subsurface characterization of media and contaminants.
Our geologists spend as much time in the field investigating soil and groundwater conditions
as they do in the office interpreting data and modeling groundwater plumes. ESE’s geologists
are responsible for conducting environmental drilling, soil logging, monitor well installations,
soil sampling and waste characterization. Following data collection, ESE geologists use an
extensive list of the latest technology and software to interpret site conditions and construct
visual representations of subsurface conditions.
