Position Responsibility:

Assist ESE’s team with delivery of services to the marketplace in an organized and disciplined manner, striving to continuously improve in the areas of project delivery and technical support.

Position Duties:

  • Endangered species habitat assessment and surveys.
  • Lead preparation of various Natural Resources related reports.
  • Wetland delineation field work and report development.
  • Environmental permitting and environmental monitoring for renewable energy projects and other development.
  • NEPA environmental assessments and reports.
  • Potential for cross training with other service areas such as Ecological Risk Assessment, Phase I ESA, Cultural Resources, and Environmental Compliance.
  • Maintain an average utilization of 90% or greater.
  • Deliver the professional consulting services offered by ESE Partners using ESE delivery systems and methodologies.
  • Operate as one of the firm’s technical staff members with respect to the disciplines related to Environmental Science and Engineering.
  • Assist in the management of numerous project tasks simultaneously.
  • Develop Site Maps and other pertinent drawings using Arc GIS.
  • Assist in training of field staff in assessment methods.
  • Assist with task and project management.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and regulators.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Wildlife Biology, Plant Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or similar. Masters preferred.

Experience:

2-5 Years. Prefer experience with plant identification and/or survey methods for wildlife specific to your specialty (e.g., golden-cheeked warbler, mussels, Houston toad, etc.)
