ESE’s objectives for the project included due diligence assessments and budget/schedule projections in support of property acquisition, facility demolition engineering and management, closure of all waste management units, soil and groundwater assessment/remediation and site regulatory closure.
ESE served as the Project Manager and Engineer for the Brownfields reclamation of the former Texas Genco Power Plant located in Webster, Texas, in order to redevelop the 750 acre site as a master planned mixed use community located along Clear Creek.
ESE was contracted by Cherokee-Webster Development, a joint venture between Cherokee Investment Partners and Johnson Development Company, to provide Environmental Engineering services for the redevelopment of a 750-acre power plant site. ESE performed the following scope of work:
