About ESE Partner’s Recruitment Process

I begin by reviewing resumes and finding a match for our individual job descriptions. After selecting candidates with proper written qualifications, phone introductions are scheduled to learn more about you and discuss our open opportunities in more detail.

From there, we narrow our selections to 7-10 candidates and invite them for a technical interview with the hiring manager. Managers will do an in-depth review of your experience, education, work style and situational awareness to determine overall competency. Candidates are then asked to complete a CliftonStrengths Finder assessment and, if required, a technical assessment.

The CliftonStrengths assessment reveals the top five talent themes and includes basic strategies to help you understand what you naturally do best and how you can develop and use your talents to thrive in your career at ESE. Once we receive your assessment results, a leadership meeting takes place to select our top candidate(s). A second interview is scheduled between the top candidates, the hiring manager, and a representative of our leadership team. Next, ESE will conduct a professional reference check with the candidate’s professional references.

My team and I will have a final discussion to solidify an offer for the top candidate for the position. Upon acceptance and execution of the offer, a start date is finalized. HR will work closely with the hiring manager to build a personalized New Hire onboarding and training schedule. The candidates first day will consist of orientation and learning what it means to be a part of the ESE Team!

We can’t wait to meet you!
